The Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA) is honored to announce that our 2025-2026 Art Showcase has received recognition from the Fall 2025 Digital Health Awards! Granted in the Web-based Digital Health category, we are proud to have received a Merit Award for this one-of-a-kind MSAA program.

All of us at MSAA, including staff members, our Board of Directors, and members of our advisory boards, along with the MS community, are mourning the loss of a truly wonderful neurologist and friend, Dr. Andrew Woo, who passed away on November 14, 2025. Dr. Woo will be terribly missed by everyone who had the great pleasure of knowing him.

The Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA) is pleased to announce that we are the recipients of two APEX Awards for Publication Excellence from the 37th Annual APEX Awards, as well as one Bronze Award from the 32nd Annual National Health Information Awards! The APEX awards were presented for MSAA’s Ask the Expert Blog Series and MSAA’s About MS publication, while the National Health Information Awards recognized the Summer/Fall 2024 edition of our national magazine, The Motivator.

The mood inside the Phoenix Convention Center was as bright and sunny as the Arizona weather outside when thousands of MS clinicians, researchers, individuals with MS, and others convened in late May for the annual meeting of the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers (CMSC). We are proud to have been presented a Silver Digital Health Award in the Digital Health Media and Publications category for MSAA’s educational video, Your MS and the Family Journey.

Multiple sclerosis (MS) was front and center when neurologists from across the nation gathered in San Diego in April for the annual meeting of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN). More than 180 research presentations at the meeting focused on investigational and approved medications for MS, means of monitoring the condition, and strategies for improving quality of life for people with MS.
