Sally MacAllister – Bend, OR

Thank you, MS, for bringing me to art. Upon my PPMS diagnosis ten years ago, I knew I had to find a new passion in life to replace the active lifestyle I was losing. I hadn’t actively painted in over 40 years, and when I took brush to paint and paint to canvas, I was immediately filled with a renewed hope to remain active and productive. Moving to the high desert at the foot of the Cascades shortly after diagnosis, I found such inspiration in our dramatic and varied landscapes. My style has evolved to abstract impressions of this beautiful world around me. I paint mostly in acrylics and call my collection “Nature by Design.”
