Katherine Lentell – Cheboygan, MI
After living in Cape Cod for thirty years, Katherine moved to northern Michigan with her husband and two daughters. She was diagnosed with MS in 2020 after pursuing degrees in psychology and neurology and suddenly became a neurology patient instead of a neuropsychologist. While her dreams may have been cut short by limited abilities, her faith in Christ and her family are what keep her motivated throughout her journey. Instead of giving up, she went on to receive an advanced degree in business and continues to use her strength and skills to show her daughters that no matter what life throws at us, we can still adapt and overcome challenges. She hopes to continue using her knowledge and hypotheses to conduct preliminary MS studies that can act as springboards for larger research institutions.
