Kirsten de Boer – Richmond, TX
Art and music have been central to my existence since birth. I’ve intuitively used both to process my inner and outer world, cope with physical illness, pain, regulate my nervous system, and work through emotions. Art and music are essential to how I function in the world. Each serves a different purpose for me. I have a deep appreciation for the creative process. Painting, especially in oil, gives me the time and space to slow down and let go of any anxiety, or get curious about whatever might come up to the surface as I’m painting.
