I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 34 years ago. I am a registered architect and artist. My career, as an on-site construction project manager in New York City, ended nine years ago because MS symptoms prevented me from performing my job.
I rediscovered my old hobbies, drawing and painting. Online art challenges were a joy, besides my own projects. A few years ago, I discovered a group of artists devoted to posting their own creative interpretations to daily prompts. Drawing every day, kept me accountable. My art improved. This supportive group of artists offers encouragement. I tried new techniques, mediums, and compositional formats. A daily prompt may fill a page. Other times, I might squeeze a whole week onto a single sheet of paper. This year my MSAA submission contains work from the 2025 daily prompts.
