Katy Maiolatesi – Lansing, MI

I was recently diagnosed with MS this past year, and this is my first time drawing since then. After a long hiatus, I got into pencil sketching again during the early pandemic and I was delighted to see my abilities were still there (with and without MS!). I love to strive for realism, and it is such a joy to see it through. Now that I am confident in my drawing, even with some weakness in my right hand, I am inspired to create more pieces in the future.
