Lisa Cohen – San Rafael, CA

I live in San Rafael, California and generally take photos in San Rafael although sometimes in other parts of Marin. I often walk in Dominican University which is close to where I live. It has beautiful gardens. I started taking photos of flowers when I got my first smart phone. It was something I could do when out walking, whether using my walker or without it. It was a way to break up my walks which is how it ties in with MS. I could easily delete the ones that were no good and could crop them to make them look better. Since I have tremors there are many which get deleted. I often put them together in booklets of photos for gifts or auction items. Many go into Facebook birthday cards. I also write poetry and sometimes combine photos and poems.
