Claudia Van Holt – Brooklyn, NY

Please call me BbKlauds. Just an accidental artist and cat photographer that found herself living with this uninvited guest in her brain. MS has been a challenge for me. I am a linguist by trade and that has been terribly affected, but my art has found an open gate and has been flooding my life for five years.

I can’t complain. The sun is shining. Everyday is a good day. I am a story-teller. My whole professional life has been about telling stories, or re-telling stories through translating other people’s writings and thoughts into a different language. I have come now to the point of feeling this unstoppable need to tell my own stories through my art, through images. You can call me a visual translator. Art and design are my passion, along with long walks, the sea, cats, my husband, my original family, Bossa Nova and a glass of wine shared with good friends (old and new).
