Victor Michaels – Brooklyn, NY

Hi, my name is Victor Michaels. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I got the diagnosis of relapsing-remitting MS in 2020.

I am in college now going for Surgical Technology. If I was given the chance to work in a laboratory, I’d like to find a cure (not just for MS but all autoimmune diseases).

My advice: MS isn’t easy or fun; take it one step at a time. Be in contact with your doctors and tell them your symptoms and concerns. Have a support group (family, friends, religious group, etc.) to support you on your journey.

Think positive, laugh, pray, and as Rick Astley said, “Never Gonna Give You Up.”
