Nancy Mohsen – Moorestown, NJ

I am a contemporary painter working primarily in acrylics. My work investigates perception, uncertainty, and meaning through symbolic and abstract forms, with a particular focus on loss, adaptation, and transformation. I am self-taught in visual art and trained as a physician. Living with multiple sclerosis has shaped my sensitivity to change and interruption. While MS accelerated my retirement from medicine, it opened up space for a sustained painting practice – one that engages in uncertainty and locates beauty within evolving states of being.
