Greta Stratman – Clayton, CA
Art has been a part of my life as long as I can remember, but after my diagnosis in 2008 it became much more than a medium for creative expression; it led me to artistic communities that would have remained otherwise undiscovered and has played an essential role in my overall wellbeing. It has allowed me to forge new friendships and find happiness and healing.
I love sharing my art and encouraging others to be creative. I find my inspiration from nature and consider myself a mixed media artist, working in various mediums from watercolor and ink to clay and collage. Art keeps me grounded and I believe art heals. It gets me up in the morning, even on the hardest days.
