As a photographer, my work explores the intersection of personal history, grief, and self-identity. Art allows me to process, share, and transform my experiences into something deeply meaningful. I draw on my experiences—especially my diagnosis of multiple sclerosis at 18—as a lens through which I examine the complexity of my evolving self. My photography blends dark, warm lighting, abstraction, and rich hues to evoke the emotional depth of these themes. Although I’ve long used photography as a tool for personal expression, this is one of the first times I am openly exploring my journey with MS. Through these images, I aim to give shape to the unseen and often unspoken struggles of living with a chronic illness while reflecting on my past and what it means to grow as a young adult.
