Throughout my life, I have explored different areas of art. One thing that I have always enjoyed is creating with fiber art. Since my MS disease progression includes paresthesia, I have had to modify my activities. Before I suffered with this constant numbness and tingling in my hands, I did fine needlework, including counted cross stitch, tatting, and hand sewing. Now that it is impossible to feel the needle in my fingers, I have turned to larger media which includes creating on a weaving loom. The planning and weaving process requires concentration and math which my neurologist encourages me to do, for brain health. I love to create with different yarn types and techniques, including tapestry and even weaving with plants.
