Michelle Colston – Turlock, CA

In the summer of 2009 I was diagnosed with MS and my world changed for the best. I had my own accounting business when it became very obvious that there was something terribly wrong. I had worked very hard to get my degree in accounting and had worked in that field for more than 1/2 my life and felt it was all I knew. When it became apparent I could no longer do what I loved, I had to ask myself where do you go from here? When I was in college, I took several art history classes, but never took an art class so I decided now was the time and I loved it! Not only did it relax me, but I found a sense of fulfillment on my bad MS days. So, I took my love for art began drawing and never turned back.
