Darlene McCourt – Cape May Court House, NJ

I was diagnosed with relapsing-remitting MS in 2007. In the last couple of years, I retired, which gave me some time to try new things. I attended an art painting class this summer; and the instructor said I was a “natural” at painting. Ever since, I have been attending sessions with her. I can see my skills improving, and I have found much joy in this hobby. I decided to submit 5 of my works when I saw the MS Art Showcase. I am very appreciative of my new-found hobby, which I feel relaxes me, inspires me, and helps my MS through creativity and cognitive stimulation.
