I was first diagnosed with MS on April 20, 2012. That day changed my life forever. Every day is always a challenge. I’ve only been painting about two years now, it helps me focus and relieves stress. One day at a time, I will continue to fight this monster of a disease. I have MS but it does not have me.

I thought MS was the worst thing you could get, until I got a brain aneurysm, too. It’s by the grace of God that I get to live and did not lose any of my motor functions. My surgery was successful, and I have been blessed in many ways. I have two daughters and five grandchildren to keep me going on this ride we call life.
