Christy LaCorte – West Covina, CA
Christine is a musician, nurse and volunteer. She is advocate for Elephants, bringing awareness to the recently lifted US ban on ivory. Christine is passionate about her art, using her skills to be of service in the community.
Diagnosed with MS in 2008, Christine explores many alternative approaches, including training as a Reiki practitioner and cycling to best handle the physical and mental challenges of multiple sclerosis. She commends her loyal walking partners, (her two terriers; Monkey & Rocket) with giving her the strength and motivation to get outside and walk, even on the worst days.
