2018 MSAA MS Ability Art Showcase Artist of the Month
Paula Breiner – Tamaqua, PA
I am an MS Warrior. I make the most of each day. I enjoy yoga and meditation. My husband remade our porch, he enclosed it in glass and sliding doors. He wanted me to be able to be “outside” and be able to enjoy all the seasons and paint, do crafts, yoga and meditation and not be looking at the same four walls 24/7.
I live day to day with this disease and pray for a cure. I do a paint/craft day each month with the gang in our support group. It has given me such happiness at seeing all the wonderful finished projects and see the smiles, laughter, and the awesome mental therapy that we all supply each other with.
I was diagnosed in 2006. I have a very loving and supportive husband and we will celebrate our 34th anniversary in November. We have two beautiful daughters and four amazing grandkids. Our 11-year-old grandson is a huge supporter and he does our local MS Walk each year. He is my MS buddy. My support group has become my second family and we are so much stronger as a group. We live, one day at a time.
Love Me, Don’t Break Me
