Jason Slattery is the founding Partner at the global executive search firm, Daversa Partners.

Mr. Slattery is a well-respected headhunter focused on the global technology ecosystem. He has worked with many of the groundbreaking companies whose technology we have grown accustomed to using on a daily basis. Mr. Slattery’s focus is on executive retained search, primarily placing C-Suite executives.

Mr. Slattery joined Daversa Partners in 2000 and has been instrumental in building the firm from a single-office entity into a globally recognized firm in industry with offices in New York City, Connecticut, Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami, Orlando, and London. He is married to his college sweetheart, Susan and together they have four children.

Jason has a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Sacred Heart University (Fairfield, CT).


Vice Chair: Michael Schoenhaut (Pleasantville, NY)

Michael Schoenhaut is a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager on J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s Multi-Asset Solutions team, based in New York. Mr. Schoenhaut is responsible for a global suite of multi-asset income strategies and is lead portfolio manager across the funds. He focuses on asset allocation, portfolio construction, manager selection, and risk management. He was previously a member of the SmartRetirement portfolio management team which was awarded the 2014 Morningstar U.S. Allocation Fund Manager of the Year for their efforts. An employee since 1997, Mr. Schoenhaut has held other positions within Multi-Asset Solutions, including portfolio manager for GTAA and balanced strategies and head of quantitative portfolio management. Mr. Schoenhaut earned a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University and is a CFA charterholder.


Treasurer: Meryl Ravitz, CPA (New York, NY)

Meryl Ravitz is an entrepreneurial financial executive with more than 25 years of senior-level experience in small/mid-capitalization companies in the legal, telecommunications and consumer products industries. She has been instrumental in Equity & Debt placements, IPO’s and the related SEC work, Sarbanes-Oxley, budgeting, reporting, audits, treasury, tax, and human resource functions at her various companies.

Ms. Ravitz is currently the Director of Accounting at Walden Macht Haran & Williams LLP, a New York-based law firm focusing on white collar defense and investigations, complex commercial disputes, monitorships, and corporate compliance. Prior to that, she was the CFO & Treasurer of XcomIP, a wholesale telecommunications company, since 2011. Ms. Ravitz has held multiple finance positions at Vivaro Corporation, culminating in her position as CFO and Treasurer before departing. She also held finance management positions at Wired Business as well as Destia Communications. Ms. Ravitz started her career at Deloitte & Touche.

Ms. Ravitz holds a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from George Washington University. Additionally, she has attained the designations of Certified Public Accountant and Certified Forensic Accountant.

Ms. Ravitz previously was a member of the Board of Trustees, NJ Metro Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society from 1992-2017, and the Treasurer for a majority of that time, as well as the Co-Chair for two years. She also instituted a scholarship fund for children with MS or a parent with MS to go to college. Additionally, she was the Treasurer of MS Hope for a Cure from 2018-2020. Also, Ms. Ravitz, along with her daughter, have spent years volunteering at a local homeless shelter.


Secretary: Ann Baird Bishop, Esq. (Atlanta, GA)

Ann Baird Bishop graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University in 1973 and from Mercer University School of Law with a Juris Doctor in 1976. Since 1981, Ms. Bishop has practiced almost exclusively in the area of workers’ compensation representing employers and insurers. Ms. Bishop is delighted to have joined Hall Booth Smith P. C. in 2019 where she continues to represent employers and insurers.

Ms. Bishop has received Martindale Hubbell’s highest rating (A-V), has served on the Executive Committee of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the State Bar of Georgia, was Section Chair for 2007-2008, and has served on the Rules and Mediation Committee of the Chairman’s Advisory Council of the State Board of Workers’ Compensation for more than 25 years.

Ms. Bishop is on the Board of Directors and is a past president of the Board of Kids’ Chance of Georgia, Inc. She also served on the Board of Directors of Kids’ Chance of America and was president of the national organization for 2014-2016. In 2012, Ms. Bishop was inducted as a Fellow into the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers and currently serves on its Board. She served on the Board of Visitors for Mercer University School of Law to which she was elected Secretary in 2012 and Chair for 2017-2019. Ms. Bishop was honored to receive the 2017 Distinguished Service Award from the Workers’ Compensation Section of the State Bar of Georgia and is a 2018 recipient of the Justice Benham Award for Community Service.


Member at Large: Augusto A. Miravalle, MD, FAAN (Chicago, IL)

Dr. Augusto A. Miravalle is a distinguished neurologist and leader in the field of multiple sclerosis (MS) and neuroimmunology. Serving as Chief of the MS and Neuroimmunology Division at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago since 2023, he brings over 15 years of expertise in clinical care, education, and research. Dr. Miravalle is also a Professor of Neurology in Rush University’s Neurological Sciences Department.

After earning his medical degree with highest honors from Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina, Dr. Miravalle completed his neurology residency at Loyola University Medical Center, followed by dual fellowships in MS and neuroimaging research at Harvard University. His clinical and academic career spans leadership roles at institutions such as the University of Colorado, and University of Florida.

Dr. Miravalle’s contributions to MS research, education, and patient care have earned him numerous accolades, including election to the “Best Doctors in America”, “Top Doctors in Chicago” and the prestigious William T. and Janice M. Neely Professorship for Research in MS. He is actively involved in national organizations, including the American Academy of Neurology and is the founding member of the Brain Health Center of the Rockies, where he advocates for improved brain health and equity in healthcare. Additionally, Dr. Miravalle serves on MSAA’s Healthcare Advisory Council and the organization’s Hispanic/Latinx Advisory Board.

A dedicated mentor and educator, Dr. Miravalle has designed innovative medical education programs, fostering leadership among neurology trainees and enhancing care models for diverse communities. His research interests include optimizing disease-modifying therapies and advancing brain health in MS patients.

Dr. Miravalle is fluent in English and Spanish and maintains a strong commitment to serving underrepresented populations, particularly in the Hispanic community. His compassionate, patient-centered approach is a hallmark of his practice and leadership.


Audrey A. Allsopp (King of Prussia, PA)

Audrey Allsopp is a strategic, customer-centric leader with more than 30 years of experience identifying risk and protecting company assets. She has successfully managed national programs in various industries that include banking, construction, retail, manufacturing, non-profit, and transportation companies.

Ms. Allsopp currently works at CubeSmart in Malvern, PA. Ms. Allsopp is passionate about creating effective insurance policy and risk mitigation strategies in regard to Property Casualty and Group Health programs.

Ms. Allsopp relocated to PA for family and was the workers compensation practice leader and claim consultant for Conner Strong and Buckelew in Camden, NJ where she provided high-risk businesses with comprehensive solutions to prevent losses, manage claims, and drive growth. Ms. Allsopp was the Corporate Claims Manager for Dollar Tree Corporate in Chesapeake, VA. Prior to her work at Dollar Tree, Ms. Allsopp held three positions from 1994 to 2007 at General Electric Insurance Company in Louisville, KY. She began her career there as Disability and Risk Manager, moving on to Manager of Worker Compensation Claim Operations, and finally Pharmacy Project Manager. Ms. Allsopp began her career at Aetna Life and Casualty in their Hartford, CT and Philadelphia, PA locations from 1987 to 1994, holding positions in the areas of Commercial Liability Claims and Worker Compensation Claims.

Ms. Allsopp received her MBA from Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY, and received a BS in Commerce and Engineering, with a Minor in Marketing, from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. She also received her CPCU (Charter Property Casualty Underwriting) Designation from the Insurance Institute of America. In addition, Ms. Allsopp has spoken professionally on the topic of workplace violence, women leadership in insurance, insurance recovery, and temporary staffing agreements.

Ms. Allsopp is a supporter of the American Red Cross by donating blood every other month.


Geleana D. Alston, PhD (Burlington, NC)

Geleana Alston, PhD is the Inaugural Associate Dean for Research and Community Engagement for the College of Education at North Carolina A&T State University. She is also a Professor in the Department of Leadership Studies and Adult Education. Dr. Alston’s work focuses on the sociocultural intricacies of women, minorities, and disenfranchised groups as adult learners and leaders. She started at N.C. A&T in 2014 as an Assistant Professor, was promoted to Associate Professor in 2018, and then promoted to Professor in 2023. Dr. Alston also served as the Interim Chair for the Department of Leadership Studies and Adult Education from July 2023 until December 2024.

Dr. Alston is the author or co-author of over 30 scholarly publications. In addition to her scholarship, she has more than 10 years of experience with academic journal editorship. Currently, she is the Co-Editor in Chief for New Directions for Adult and Continuing Education. Dr. Alston has collaborated on research projects as principal investigator, co-principal investigator, or evaluator, and collectively these research teams have successfully secured more than 13 million dollars funding.

Dr. Alston serves on the Boards of Directors for Year Up United and BOMBS Publishing. She is also a proud and active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Dr. Alston earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Adult, Professional, and Community Education from Texas State University, a Master of Science in Adult Education from North Carolina A&T State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from East Carolina University. In 2020, she earned certificate in Women’s Entrepreneurship from Cornell University.

Dr. Alston is also the Founder and CEO of Alston Educational Group, LLC. Her company is dedicated to providing clients with evidence-supported practices to help them propel and realize solution-oriented opportunities within their respective academic, educational, and workplace environments.


Julian Gamboa (Los Angeles, CA)

Julian Gamboa received his BA in marketing from the University of California, Berkeley. He led Telemundo LA’s first organic social strategy in live streaming and celebrity advertising. His experience led him to teach one of UC Berkeley’s first social media courses, Digital Marketing Today, at the Walter A. Haas School of Business. The course serviced over 400 students and featured clients such as Airbnb, Spotify, Google and more. After two years at NBC, he volunteered with his hometown’s small and local businessowners to help them better advertise their shops online.

In 2017, LinkedIn recognized Mr. Gamboa as a Marketing and Social Media Top Voice. He then accepted a position at the marketing publisher Adweek as a senior marketing and social media manager. In the community team, his work spotlighted various social media managers across the industry and their unique approaches. Mr. Gamboa launched Adweek’s first-ever Social Media Council, comprised of social media leads at Meta, SiriusXM, Disney, and Delta Air Lines, to name a few.

In late 2021, Mr. Gamboa was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. After connecting with MSAA’s President & CEO Gina Ross Murdoch, he volunteered with the association and ultimately accepted a board position to help reach younger diagnosed patients via social media, provide his perspective as a recently-diagnosed patient, and aid the education of Latinos with MS.

Today, Mr. Gamboa joins marketing and production company Maximum Effort as a social media director, supporting work across brands affiliated with Ryan Reynolds: Aviation Gin, Wrexham AFC, MNTN, Mint Mobile, Betty Buzz, Group Effort Initiative, and more.


Terrie Livingston, PharmD (Boston, MA)

Terrie Livingston, PharmD, is the Vice President of Medical Affairs at Octave Bioscience. An accomplished business leader and researcher, she brings over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, with more than 20 years dedicated to clinical research, real-world evidence (RWE), patient-reported outcomes (PRO), and health economics and outcomes research (HEOR).

Throughout her career, Terrie has held leadership positions within medical affairs at prominent organizations, including Pharmacia, Novartis, Biogen, and EMD Serono. During her tenure at Biogen and EMD Serono, she was instrumental in developing collaborative MS research network programs and quality improvement initiatives designed to advance MS science through real-world data and longitudinal patient-reported outcomes—a model of innovation that aligns closely with MSAA’s own research mission and the Multiple Sclerosis Implementation Network® (MSIN®).

As a well-published researcher, Terrie has actively studied racial disparities and social determinants of health, consistently championing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) to address systemic healthcare gaps. Her influential contributions to the field include serving on the international Charcot PROMS PRO Research Working Group, chairing the Industry Advisory Board for NARCRMS, and contributing as a member of the MS Minority Research Engagement Partnership Network and as a PCORI reviewer for multiple sclerosis.

Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2006, Terrie’s professional dedication is deeply intertwined with her personal journey. She is a passionate and fierce advocate for the MS community, leveraging her extensive expertise to ensure the patient voice remains at the center of healthcare innovation. Terrie earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of California, San Francisco.


Jessica March, MBA (Whitehouse Station, NJ)

Jessica March is a healthcare marketing leader and patient advocate advancing innovation in complex disease areas. She serves as Senior Director of Marketing and Training at a small oncology biotech company, where she leads global brand strategy, commercial planning, and training initiatives to bring transformative therapies to the patients who need them most. Living with multiple sclerosis, Ms. March brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. She is a Board Member of the Corinne Goldsmith Dickinson Center for MS at Mount Sinai and a Featured Writer and Founding Member of the Chronic Boss Collective, a community amplifying the voices of ambitious professionals living with chronic illness. She is also a franchise owner of Anytime Fitness in New Jersey, where she channels her passion for health and community building locally. Ms. March is committed to elevating patient perspectives and expanding access to resources for the MS community.  


Kelly Thomas Nojaim, MBA (Seattle, WA)

Kelly Thomas Nojaim is a distinguished tech executive with over two decades of experience in Sales, Marketing, and Product Management. Currently, she serves as the Regional Vice President for North America Corporate Sales at Microsoft Advertising, where she leads a dynamic team focused on achieving aggressive revenue growth across a diverse portfolio of products, including Search, Native, and Connected TV. Ms. Nojaim’s career at Microsoft spans 19 years, during which she has held various leadership roles. Her leadership is characterized by her ability to energize and inspire her team, leveraging her relationships to connect people and ideas across the business and the industry. Ms. Nojaim is committed to promoting fairness and diversity in the workplace and is currently the co-lead of the Women of Microsoft AI.

Beyond her work at Microsoft, Ms. Nojaim has made significant contributions to the broader tech and marketing community. She serves as the Vice Chairman of Localogy, where she has played a key role in transforming the association from a focus on yellow pages and print local media to digital marketing and SaaS cloud services for SMBs and local businesses. Her earlier career includes impactful roles at Pulse 360, American Express, and About.com, where she consistently exceeded revenue targets and drove substantial growth in customer acquisition and sales.

Ms. Nojaim’s educational background includes an MBA in Marketing and Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her academic achievements are complemented by her active involvement in various professional societies and her recognition as a winner of the Annual Business Plan Competition at NYU Stern.

Ms. Nojaim is originally from Long Island and currently lives with her family in Seattle. She is a mother of three – two teen daughters and a 5-year-old. She spends her family time carting the kids around to sports activities and three different schools, playing Legos, and taking Barre3 classes to maintain her own balance.


Annette Okai, MD, FAAN (Dallas, TX)

Dr. Annette Okai is fellowship trained in multiple sclerosis. She is the Director of Clinical Neuroimmunology and Multiple Sclerosis Research at North Texas Institute of Neurology and Headache in Plano, TX and Clinical Associate Professor of Neurology at Texas Tech University Health Science Center. Dr. Okai is Fellow of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Okai is actively engaged in and has participated in multiple pivotal clinical trials in multiple sclerosis. She is published in several neurological journals. Dr. Okai serves on the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America’s Healthcare Advisory Council, MSAA’s African American Advisory Council, National Multiple Sclerosis Society Faculty, and Multiple Sclerosis Foundation Advisory Board. She is a multi-year recipient of D Magazine Best Doctor in Dallas and Collin County and has received honors including CMS Meaningful Use Certifications and the Most Compassionate Doctor award.

Dr. Okai is a graduate of Drexel School of Medicine in Philadelphia. She completed her internship at Pennsylvania Hospital and neurology residency and fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Okai was the recipient of the National MS Society fellowship award and a fellowship grant from the National Institutes of Health.


Gary Puckrein, PhD (Washington, DC)

Dr. Gary Puckrein is the founding President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Minority Quality Forum (NMQF), a non-profit healthcare research, education, and advocacy organization headquartered in Washington, DC.

The mission of NMQF is to reduce patient risk by assuring optimal care for all. NMQF conducts evidence-based, data-driven initiatives to eliminate premature death and preventable illness. NMQF’s vision is an American health services research, delivery, and financing system whose operating principle is to reduce patient risk for amenable morbidity and mortality while improving quality of life. 

Dr. Puckrein received his doctorate from Brown University.


Martha Baird Senturia, PhD (San Diego, CA)

Martha Baird Senturia is a Senior Voice User Interface Designer with Performance Technology Partners. She has more than 20 years of experience in the Speech and IVR fields, working primarily on the design and usability of automated speech, text, chat, and touchtone telephone systems. She has led the design of both large and small projects including those in the healthcare, travel, shipping, retail, utility, technical support, telecom, and banking/enterprise verticals.

Before joining PTP, Dr. Senturia was a Senior Usability Engineer and Senior Principal User Interface Designer at Nuance Communications, and prior to that she held a Visiting Faculty position in Linguistics at UC San Diego. She has a B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania in Latin and Greek, and received her Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of California at San Diego. In addition to her native English, Dr. Senturia speaks fluent Spanish and some Italian. She serves on the board of a non-profit foundation, and has volunteered extensively at her local public schools and youth sports organizations.


Kevin Stockton, MBA (Scarsdale, NY)

Kevin Stockton is a strategy, marketing, and sales executive with 25 years of leadership experience spanning corporate strategy, M&A, marketing, product development, sales, operations, and technology. Most recently, Kevin served as Senior Vice President and Head of Strategy, Business Development, and Cybersecurity for the Americas at Siemens Healthineers, where he led key initiatives in commercial and corporate strategy and business development and corporate partnerships for the Diagnostic Imaging portfolio. His prior roles include Partner and Head of MedTech at Trinity LifeSciences, Senior Principal and Head of MedTech Commercial Services at IQVIA, and leadership positions at ZS Associates, Deloitte Consulting, Rosetta, The Chartis Group, and The Advisory Board Company, with a focus on life sciences, MedTech, and healthcare operations and strategy. Kevin holds an MBA from The Mason School of Business at The College of William and Mary and an AB in Middle Eastern History from Harvard University and is recognized for his pragmatic approach to complex challenges, cross-functional leadership, and commitment to delivering sustainable results.

Kevin was diagnosed with MS in 2014. Bridging business and personal passions, he has worked with a number of early stage and commercial Pharma and MedTech/Medical Device companies bringing MS products to market.


Barry A. Hendin, MD

MSAA’s Chief Medical Officer: Barry A. Hendin, MD (Phoenix, AZ)

Barry A. Hendin, MD, is a highly accomplished neurologist who specializes in MS. He is the chief medical officer for the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA) and has spoken at several of MSAA’s educational programs. After 45 years as a neurologist with Phoenix Neurological Associates, Ltd., Dr. Hendin is now director of the Arizona Integrated Neurology MS Center. He also holds the position of director of the Multiple Sclerosis Clinic at Banner University Medical Center and is a clinical professor of neurology at the University of Arizona Medical School.

Dr. Hendin earned his undergraduate degree at Washington University and his Medical Doctorate (MD) degree at Washington University Medical School. To date, he has had more than 15 clinical appointments to various medical facilities – many of which were at the Good Samaritan Hospital, where he served as chief of neurology for 35 years. He has had seven academic appointments, largely at Washington University Medical School and Arizona Medical School. Dr. Hendin has also been appointed to nearly 30 councils, committees, board of directors, and a task force, all in the fields of medicine, patient care, education, and research.

More than a dozen honors and awards have been presented to Dr. Hendin, including several for his outstanding work as a teacher. He has been a member of five societies, including the American Academy of Neurology, where he was a Fellow Member (a formal distinction recognizing special achievement). Dr. Hendin has co-authored more than 30 medical articles and has given more than 50 presentations to physician academies and other groups of medical professionals. His articles and presentations cover a wide range of topics, from prevention and management of cerebrovascular disease, to epilepsy, neuropathic pain, migraine, and of course, multiple sclerosis and its treatments. Additionally, Dr. Hendin has been the principal investigator for more than 115 clinical trials, evaluating the safety and effectiveness of different treatments for a host of neurological conditions.
