MSAA’s Publications Receive National Recognition
The Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA) is proud to announce that we have received multiple awards for our educational publications! MSAA’s MS Relapse Toolkit received a Grand Award from the 34th Annual APEX Awards for Publication Excellence in the category of One-of-a-Kind Publications. The MS Relapse Toolkit is a comprehensive resource, now in its second edition and also available in Spanish. The toolkit provides helpful information including common symptoms of an MS relapse, treatment options, and ways to plan in advance for a relapse.
The APEX annual awards program recognizes excellence in publishing by professional communicators. According to Communications Concepts, Inc., the APEX Awards are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content, and the ability to achieve overall communications excellence.
MSAA’s MS Relapse Toolkit also received a Gold Award from the 29th Annual National Health Information Awards in the Booklet/Brochure/Pamphlet category for Patient Education Information.
In addition, MSAA received a Merit Award for the cover story, “Planning for Future Care,” featured in the Summer/Fall 2021 edition of The Motivator magazine. This article covers essential information and insights from experts addressing options for the MS community to consider for their future care and financial planning needs.
According to the National Health Information Awards, hundreds of local, state, and national health-related organizations enter the competition every year, including a wide variety of leading organizations in the consumer health field.
