About the Presenter

Leorah Freeman, MD, PhD, MSIN Principal Investigator is a neurologist specializing in multiple sclerosis and other neuroinflammatory conditions. She is the medical director of the MS and Neuroimmunology Center at UT Health Austin, and the clinical practice of Dell Medical School. Dr. Freeman serves as site principal investigator for the PCORI-funded DELIVER-MS study comparing the effectiveness of early intensive versus escalation approaches for treating relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis. Dr. Freeman is the founder of the Texas MS Consortium, a network of clinicians, researchers, advocacy groups, and people with MS aiming to eliminate disparities in MS care and is also a member of MSAA’s Healthcare Advisory Council.
