Austin, TX – Newly Diagnosed with MS: A Morning of Information, Community Connection & Support
Saturday, October 17, 2026 – 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM CDT
Join MSAA for a free patient education program and brunch designed specifically for individuals newly diagnosed with MS who are still learning how to navigate and understand life with MS, along with their care partners. While the program focuses on the newly diagnosed experience, all individuals living with MS and their support partners are welcome to attend.

About the Presenter:
Erica Rivas, MD is a board-certified neurologist and the founder and medical director of the Multiple Sclerosis and Neurology Institute in Austin, Texas. She has over 12 years of experience as a neurologist and has authored multiple scientific publications on MS. Dr. Rivas is an active member of various national and Texas-based medical organizations and associations and serves on MSAA’s Hispanic/Latinx Advisory Council.
