Sonja Stackhouse – Severn, MD

My journey with multiple sclerosis brought me back to my art. It began with optic neuritis, and ten years later, I was diagnosed with MS. The first MRI marked the start of numerous hospital visits, and it was during this time that I rediscovered my passion for painting. I paint anything that moves me, with butterflies and flowers appearing in many of my pieces. I love all colors and explore a variety of art mediums. Through my art, I’ve seen smiles, felt joy, and received blessings from those who view it. So, I’d like to thank MSAA for showcasing multiple sclerosis and art.
