John J M Faubert – Greenville, SC

Growing up, art had always been an important part of my life. I started drawing at a young age. Later in life, my art would take different forms. In 2007 I was diagnosed with MS after years of being told there was nothing wrong with me for so long. In recent years, I started drawing again. I changed from coloring mandalas to drawing my own. Art is more than a release. It is an outlet of personal expression. Drawing helps me focus as it calms my thoughts and relieves the stress and pressures of the day.
