Basia Aguila – Stockton, CA

My name is Basia Aguila. I live in the Central Valley of California. Art has always been a big part of my life. As long as I can remember, I’ve been creating art. From painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, sewing, and making jewelry. Even preparing food is a form of art for me, especially since I want to go to culinary arts school for college. After being diagnosed with MS in 2012 and losing vision in my eye permanently, I realized I wanted to create art as often as possible. I try to spend a little time every day working on art. It truly is a passion of mine; a way to relieve stress and keep my spirit alive. I hope you enjoy my artwork as much as I enjoy creating it.
