Barbara Patrick – Menlo Park, CA

I have been a silversmith for most of my life. Twelve years ago, my right hand became temporarily paralyzed which led to my RRMS diagnosis. I also have carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands.

I felt devastated emotionally, physically, and financially from these health conditions. Now I am learning to paint, which is easier on my hands.

I am submitting one painting and two jewelry pieces. The bracelet took me three years to complete. I am happy with my artwork, even though I now have limitations.
