Ashlee Byington – Riverton, UT
My name is Ashlee Byington, and I have had MS for 12 years. Art is something that brings me joy. I love trying different types of arts, crafts, and painting. These paintings are acrylic paint on canvas. I chose to paint a sunflower because my husband proposed to me with a sunflower. My ring was on special order, and the moment came where it was right for him to propose, so he used a sunflower. They are now my favorite type of flower. While I am always hesitant to share my artwork, because I always am self-conscious about my ability to paint, my kids and husband keep encouraging me to paint and be brave enough to share my work.
