Karen Bloom – Kendallville, IN

I was diagnosed at 48 and a paraplegic within a year. My life is full of joy and adventure, I just no longer walk! After leaving a three-decade career in newspapers, I paint for enjoyment, and distraction. It became more important during Covid isolation as my volunteer opportunities vanished. Multiple sclerosis gave me the gift of time to paint, help daily with grandson and spend time with God.
