Karen Bloom – Kendallville, IN

Painting is my escape in many ways. Before my paralysis robbed me of my career, it helped me to leave the stress of a challenging job. After, it helped to distract me. Soon I realized that painting made me forget I was hurting, and boredom or pity parties didn’t stand a chance against my paint brush! I was about to have a grateful attitude for having the time to spend enjoying my God given talent instead of mourning what multiple sclerosis took from me.
