Barbara Dixon – Woodstock, GA

I am a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a degree from the School of Art and Design. I have been painting oil portraitures for over 30 years and my work has been featured in many juried art competitions, including being awarded best of show. I studied under famous painter, Robert Fabe and continued for many years in the corporate environment. After a diagnosis of MS, I decided to give up commercial art and focus on refining my skills with the guidance of Deborah Tidwell. I also enjoy creating chalkboards with chalk markers, chalk paints, and oil pastels. My husband, James, has been creating artisan soaps for many years and has joined with me on a new venture to create works of organic beauty to bathe with. I reside in Woodstock, GA with two corgis, two grandkitties, and a conure named Stuart.
