Sally Haas – Marine City, MI
An MS diagnosis ten years ago gave me an opportunity to face some challenges that affected my ability to paint and throw pottery. I have had to make some adjustments in order to continue to do these things. The one thing that hasn’t changed is being able to lose myself in the process of creating and for that I am grateful.
The name of this acrylic on canvas painting is “American Tree Sparrow.” It’s one of the many birds I’d see on my morning walks with the love of my life, Chris.
