MS has taught me I can still enjoy the things I love despite my diagnosis. I have always used art as a personal tool surrounding my self-care. I have always enjoyed art and the way it makes me feel. This year I graduated with a 3.9 with my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at the age of 38. I’ve struggle with a learning disorder my entire life, so studying always took me longer than the average individual. During my 7 years in college I set aside my love of art. Now that, that chapter of my life is completed, this summer I finally found the time again to return to my passion for art in all mediums. Pebeo has become my newest medium of choice and something I was introduced to this year. This year I have also been able to take weekly art classes with my daughter.
