Jeri Bolling – Effingham, SC

For more than 25 years I’ve been conflicted with what is now Multiple Sclerosis (MS), diagnosed February of this year. Over the years I was unable to keep up with my friends, maintain gainful employment, and be there, at times, for my children. I have found a place of release in art. Painting allows me to push out frustrations and get lost in all the goodness the world has to offer.

My interest in art began in 2006 when I was able to pencil out an image from a dream. With no formal training in classic or commercial art, I proclaim that divine inspiration is the driving force behind my works. I use bold colors to enhance a spiritual influence and bring forward the beauty of life. Each work is spirit-filled, giving personal praise to God. I use acrylic paint and I use blending to reduce brush strokes. The imagery revolves around my dreams and it is their influence of creation.
