Marcia McClure – Hedgesville, WV

I have always been an artist (LOL), but now that I am retired, I am able to devote more time to my painting.

The changes are from what you think you see to the marvelous things that lie just below the surface or on the outskirts of the imagination. Anything is possible, if you have the eyes to ‘see’ and acknowledge the possibilities and magic. Can you see the lion, the horse, the bird, the turtle head, the skull, the druid? All are there, changing from rocks and water to magic shapes.

I was ‘officially’ diagnosed in 1997, but I ‘got MS’ in 1971, I just didn’t know what was going on. It is a strange disease, and affects different parts. Also, the first, most severe attack was followed by a two year period until the next one. Then, another year or two, I don’t remember…I do remember telling people “there’s something wrong with my electric circuit (LOL).”

I feel blessed, I can still paint, and am thankful for each day.
