MSAA Wins Two APEX 2017 Awards for The Motivator and MyMSAA.org
The Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA) is excited to announce that we have received two awards from the APEX 2017 Awards for Publication Excellence!
The 29th Annual APEX Awards are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content, and the success of the entry – in the opinion of the judges – in achieving overall communications effectiveness and excellence. This year, entries were very competitive; APEX received a total of 1,361 entries that were evaluated and distributed under a variety of categories.
MSAA was presented with the APEX Award for Feature Writing Excellence for the cover story, “Making the Most of Our Relationships” featured in the Winter/Spring 2016 edition of The Motivator. This cover story was written by MSAA’s Senior Writer and Creative Director Susan Courtney. “Making the Most of Our Relationships” addresses interactions between family members, friends, employers, and coworkers, along with explaining how a diagnosis of MS can impact how people communicate and care for one another.
Additionally, MSAA’s MyMSAA.org received the APEX Award for Most Improved Website! MSAA’s website was redesigned and launched in the winter of 2016 to provide an easy-to-navigate format and is fully compatible with today’s browsers and mobile devices. Included in the updates to MSAA’s website are an updated homepage with enhanced graphics, a comprehensive MS information section, new ways to engage with MSAA, and more.
