The Multiple Sclerosis Association of America is partnering with @Talkspace on a pilot program for the MS community.
Talkspace is an online mental health service that connects individuals to thousands of dedicated providers from a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform.
With Talkspace, a user can send text messages to a dedicated licensed therapist anytime, anywhere; selecting a therapist takes five minutes and this service is confidential and secure. Clients will have access to three months of online therapy at no cost to them.
Participants must have a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, reside in the United States, and must have access to a mobile phone as well as the capability to send and receive text messages.
