About the Presenter

Dr. Gloriana Cruz Rivera holds a Clinical Doctorate in Sciences with a specialty in speech-language pathology and voice disorders. Since 2008, she has combined her passion for teaching with academic and clinical practice, currently serving as SLPA Program Chair and Assistant Professor at the College of DuPage. She has extensive experience working with professional voice users, focusing on vocal rehabilitation and healthy voice use.
Dr. Cruz Rivera maintains active professional affiliations with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is co-author of Sing and Shout for Health: Scientific Insights and Future Directions for Vocology (2025).
