About the Presenters

Dr. Jill Marie Conway specializes in multiple sclerosis (MS), NMO, and other autoimmune neurologic disorders. Her interests include cognitive function in MS, new and emerging therapies, and women’s health issues related to autoimmune neurological diseases. She has been involved in numerous clinical trials for new therapies for MS. In addition to her leading the MS program at Novant she is an adjunct clinical Professor for the University of North Carolina School of Medicine as well as being a prior neurology clerkship director for the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Charlotte.

Shaina Meyer is a dedicated occupational therapist, educator, and leader with a passion for empowering others to achieve a better quality of life. Shaina holds a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University – Global, a master’s in Occupational Therapy from Saint Louis University, and a bachelor’s in Psychology from Westminster College in Fulton, MO. Her career has been largely focused on supporting individuals with neurological and progressive conditions, including multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and dementia. In addition to her clinical work, Shaina has served as a rehabilitation manager, continuous improvement leader, and Legislative Chair for her state occupational therapy association.
