Trinity Stardust – Houston, TX
Trinity “TriStar” Stardust is a self-taught intersectional artist whose work reflects her identity as a Black Afro-Latina woman, single mom, LGBTQ+ member, and person living with multiple sclerosis (MS). She began her artistic journey in 2011 at Project Row Houses and continues to refine her skills through classes, currently participating in Art League Houston’s Healing Art Program. TriStar’s work has been exhibited at venues such as the Art League Gala, Houston Chocolate & Art Show, Texas Southern University, and Project Row Houses’ Community Gallery. In 2024, she received the Idea Fund grant for her art performance project Stardust Unions, set for summer 2025. Returning to Project Row Houses, Trinity finds healing in sharing her HACCC (Healing Absent Cure Creatively Thru Community) story. Through her art, she fosters connections within the 3rd Ward community and beyond, using it as a vehicle for advocacy, self-expression, and healing without a cure.
