Sally MacAllister – Bend, OR
When I was diagnosed ten years ago with Primary Progressive MS, I knew my active and athletic lifestyle was going to have to change. I was challenged to find a new passion and decided to revive a long-ago penchant for painting. I have given this new endeavor 100% and it has given me purpose, pride, and fulfillment. It has led me to new acquaintances and new friends. It has given me the platform to overcome the dark side of this disease and to look forward to each day. Moving to the Pacific Northwest and the high desert of the Eastern Cascades provides abundant inspiration. My favorite genre is abstract landscapes – relishing in the colors and dancing lights of nature.
