Lisa Domenic – Philadelphia, PA

Lisa Domenic is a self-taught artist who chooses to see the positive. Originally a nurse, her love for the creative arts led her down the path we find her on today. My inspiration springs from a desire to bring comfort and hope. My language is impressionism. My technique is intuitive. I create images with loose colorful style and connect the shapes, values and brush marks. I see a strong connection to my creative practice and my role in caregiving. My art has developed and helped sustain me when my health or the health of those I love most were in question. This collection of recent watercolors is my visual reflection of loss and renewal.
