Latasha Holley – Atlanta, GA

Empress Ayodele Elon Holley (CARBON ONYX) is a Southern born, New England raised artist whose medium is ceramics (mainly black porcelain), but also uses mixed media, digital, and acrylic. Carbon’s works have been highlighted in most recent years nationally with both permanent and semi-permanent art displayed on both coasts. Enriched by the still of life’s moments, her previous monikers include EM16, her symbolic marks also include her zodiac sign and the Ankh symbol. Eventually settling on the pen name, CARBON ONYX, in 2022 and launching CarbonONYX.shop in 2024. Each of her one-of-a-kind pieces once purchased are accompanied with a dated and notarized authenticity certificate (2001 and after). With her signature stamps and style, it’s hard to deny that each piece is a statement.
