Kashae Edgerson – Travelers Rest, SC
My name is Kashae Edgerson. I was finally diagnosed at 30 years old after moving to a new state by myself with my four kids. It’s been terribly hard going through this as a single mom. Everyone that I see on the sites has someone to help, so that’s depressing. There’s been times that I could barely make it up the stairs and my 5-year-old son has had to assist me. I feel like I am putting too much on my babies. Not to mention I was diagnosed in July and I’m still untreated. Hopefully that changes soon, so I can see what I am able to accomplish physically and if I’d have more energy with the treatment. I’m in a new town, just me and my four kids and I don’t want to leave. What’s really best for me?
