Barbara Patrick – Menlo Park, CA

My path as an artist with MS has been fruitful. I have loads of inspiration around me to use for artistic expression. I have had my artwork published with the MSAA on their Artist Showcase. This year I am entering three abstract paintings. I believe they show an internal struggle with my body and my unhealthy immune system. I think some of the images have manifested from unconscious rumblings.

I am a disabled retired artist. I have a BFA in Metalsmithing. I have received honors and awards for my artwork. However, I am relatively new to working in 2D artwork. I have submitted these three abstract paintings, because I feel they have unspoken connections to my internal struggle with MS. I am hoping they speak to other people as well.
