Patty Bennett – Lewes, DE

Patty Perreault Bennett is a retired high school math teacher. She has been a creative person all her life, but now that she has been diagnosed with MS in 2015, it has become even more important. In addition to artwork in all different media, Patty is an active member of two writers’ organizations, the Rehoboth Beach Writers Guild (RBWG) and the Eastern Shore Writers Association. She facilitates an Art-based Free Write twice a month for the RBWG. Patty’s writing has been published in Delaware Beach Life magazine and three anthologies: Scenes, A Collaboration of Coastal Artists and Writers, Best Poets of 2019, and Tasty Morsels. She also published a chapbook in 2021 of 45 poems with a water theme called Water Writes.
