Nicole Peeples – Dumas, AR

I was diagnosed with MS in 2015. This is my first-time submitting art for this Showcase. But I am not new to art. It has been my passion since I was little. MS is also not something I was new at when I got the diagnosis. My mother also has MS and was diagnosed in 2001. My progression has been very progressive since my diagnosis. I have nine lesions total in my brain and spine. For the last two years, I was put on Mavenclad. I’m currently one year out of all MS treatments and will go back for another MRI this month to see if I’m still in what they call a remission state. I hope you enjoy my artwork. I also wanted to share a piece of my art that was pre-MS. This last painting was done when I was 14 as a gift to my grandma who is now passed. I hope you enjoy.
