Patti Steelman – Mountain Brook, AL

Patti Steelman grew up in Middle Tennessee. She met & married her husband, Jim, over 32 years ago, in Nashville. Patti spent 20+ years in information technology, human resources, & management consulting. She and Jim moved to Birmingham in 2000 because of Jim’s career in banking. They have had pets most of their married life and currently have two dogs: Tucker & Reese. Patti and Jim both are vegan. Jim has been since 2007 and Patti since 2011. Patti enjoys reading, music, cooking, making stained glass mosaics, working out, & volunteering her time.

Patti has been living with multiple sclerosis for over fourteen years. In order to have a creative outlet, she started learning how to create stained glass mosaics from local artist, Gerda Carmichael, in 2011. Many of her designs are hanging in her home. Proceeds from sales of several pieces have been donated to charity.
