Janice R. Brown – Fayetteville, NC

Jan Cozart is always working on a project, whether painting a wall to resemble stone or breathing new life into old furniture. Creating and painting have been lifelong passions of hers. Jan started doing paint pour art after being diagnosed with M.S. in 2007 at the age of 32. She found the paint pour process a new way to create her artwork that enabled her to control color and movement with less demand on her muscles. It is a way for her to not let her sickness run her. Jan’s work is vibrant and bold just like she is. She hopes that sharing her story through these images of her artwork will inspire others living with MS. Jan lives in North Carolina with her husband and fluffy kitty Luna.
