I’ve been an amateur photographer since I was a kid. When I moved to Georgia, my part-time gigs allowed me to do a lot of traveling, mostly on the East coast and in the Midwest. While there, I took pictures of things that piqued my interest. Digital photography, recently through using cell phone cameras, has been my medium of choice. In 2020, it changed our whole world, but mine in particular. I started doing mostly nature shots, especially shots of insects on the flowers in my garden. Then 2021 changed my world when, after having puzzling symptoms for years, I was officially diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Now, I am one of four family members to be diagnosed with it. Through these past two years, photography has been my saving grace. I have my portfolio on several photo-sharing sites like Flickr and EyeEm and hope to start merchandising them.
