Raymond Schnell – Levittown, NY

My first painting is based on Edvard Munch’s “The Kiss.” This was painted around Valentine’s Day to pay tribute to couples who love each other. My second painting is based on Van Gough’s “Man by the Fireplace.” What inspired me to paint this one was the feeling of stress and despair which is influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic. Lastly, the third painting is one I created for a friend which I have given the title, Veronica’s Vineyard. What inspired me to create this painting is my friend Veronica has gone through difficult times and as a friend, I thought it would be a nice gesture.
